Meet Penelope Lindblom Guest Director of HEIDI Penelope is a member of Actor's Equity, holds a B.F.A in acting from Wayne State University and graduated with honors. She has been on faculty at California State University in Long Beach and San Bernadino, as well as serving as Artist in Residence and a member of the Professional Company at the Pacific Conservatory of Performing Arts, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, California Repertory Company, and currently at the Pittsburgh Playhouse. She has performed with Lynn Redgrave, Ed Asner and Harry Hamlin and performed in regional theatre around the country. She directed the critically acclaimed Antigone '99 at the Penn Avenue Theatre and recently Huckleberry Finn for Playhouse Jr. Penelope is the recipient of Best Actress and Supporting Actress from the San Francisco Bay Area's Critic Circle, the New York Shakespeare Society and holds two Los Angeles Dramalogue Awards. As a singer she has recorded for Warner Brothers and RCA and is currently performing in THREE PENNY OPERA at the Pittsburgh Playhouse. Penelope brings a great deal of imagination, energy and love for youth theatre and we delighted to have her direct HEIDI. |
