Meet Lynn Debree Director of BRIDGE TO TERABITHIA Lynn DeBree moved to Pittsburgh from Butte, Montana and is enjoying her third season with Prime Stage. She worked in Montana as the Managing and Artistic Director of the Butte Center for the Performing Arts where she oversaw both the youth theatre program and the management of a ‘road house’. Last year she directed the beautiful production of NUMBER THE STARS Her directing credits include: Annie, Peter Pan, Wizard of Oz, Cinderella, Little Shop of Horrors, Quilters, Into the Woods, Extremities, Beyond Therapy and Agnes of God. She has directed numerous children and youth theatre productions including: Bang Bang You’re Dead, Charlotte’s Web, The Magic Horn, Stone Soup, The Emperor’s New Clothes, The Wind in the Willows, Juvie, This Is It-Kid’s Vaudeville, Beauty and the Beast and How to Eat Like a Child. She received her Theatre Degree from Rocky Mountain College in Billings Montana and then taught at the college for four years following graduation. Since her arrival in Pittsburgh she has directed The Housekeeper and Something’s Afoot for Apple Hill Playhouse, How to Eat Like A Child for Actor’s Civic Theatre children’s summer program, Into the Woods Jr. for Apple Hill Summer children’s theatre program, and Run For Your Wife for South Park Theatre. Lynn also works as the Production Manager for South Park Theatre. We look forward to the magic she will bring to BRIDGE TO TERABITHIA. |
