A LITTLE HOUSE CHRISTMAS
Directed by Wayne Brinda, based on the "Little House" books by Laura Ingalls Wilder and adapted for the stage by James DeVita.

A LITTLE HOUSE CHRISTMAS features Dave Krysty, great Western PA fiddler and storyteller as Pa Ingalls. Prime Stage is very proud to have Dave Krysty in this show. He brings out the traditional flavor of the music and the warmth of Pa to all the audiences and younger cast members. We are very sure that you will have a positive experience that will last this season and a life-time.

A LITTLE HOUSE CHRISTMAS was written by James DeVita and first produced by First Stage in Milwaukee. For those who love Laura Ingalls Wilder's books, this story brings many of the favorite characters to life: Ma and Pa Ingalls, Mr. Edwards, Mrs. Olesen, Mary, Laura, plus two of their cousins and Uncle George, the war hero from an early book.

Mr. DeVita created a new story from several books. He needed to get permission from the Wilder estate. Laura's descendants read each draft of the script and gave approval to the final version, which we are presenting. You will join the Ingalls on the Christmas Eve when they invite friends and neighbors to their new home. Although Laura's good behavior is tested by the proper Nellie Olesen, she and Mary do their best to help Ma and Pa decorate the tree and prepare a marvelous dinner. When a storm threatens to postpone Santa's visit, Laura and Mary learn the true meaning of Christmas!
