The Music Lesson
THE MUSIC LESSON - playing May 1 - 17
This "World Premiere" is by Tammy Ryan, the 1997 Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Creative Achievement Award recipient. It is the heartwarming story of a 15 year old American girl, her piano teacher from Bosnia and the ghost of a 12 year old Musical prodigy from Sarajevo who teach each other compassion and courage through music. It is appropriate for ages 10 and up. This play is being developed with The Pittsburgh Symphony and The Carnegie Library... It is made possible by the Howard Heinz Endowment and The Pittsburgh Foundation.

As we create the show, special workshops are available to your school with the playwright, composer and director. Call Prime Stage at 412-771-7373 for more information on this and other special programs!
