A Wind Story, by Don Jukes, adapts one of many stories
about the mystery of the wind and the desire to control it.
When the village is threatened, one Native American legend
tells us, nature's force can be defeated by strength, courage
and endurance. Combining storytelling techniques with a ritual
essence of a noble culture, this play treats the myth loosely,
allowing a girl and her friends to imaginatively discover
                                wind-taming power.
